The paper, by Geoffrey Boulton (Vice principal and Regius Professor of Geology and Mineralogy at Edinburgh University) and Colin Lucas (Warden of Rhodes House and former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University) calls for a reinforced understanding of the fundamental role of the university.
